Week 2: Making Ideas Into Images
Mike and I make our weekly visit to the school together to train four new students on how to use the cameras, and pick up last week’s cameras. As usual, Mike is great with the students, and he explains the endless possibilities of what they can do with them.
The students start using them right away, and start recording one another talking about their project.
This week the students have been primed to visit the museum by Amanda, and they were very much looking forward to it. They will look at works that deal with death and memory by artists from all over the world. They will be able to incorporate some of these ideas into their ofrendas if they choose to.
