I am dedicating my ofrenda to my great-grandma, Eunice Carson. I chose to honor her because she was important to me and I love her very much. I chose to paint the box with pastel colors because she was always happy. She would sit in her chair with her Crocs on and she would knit blankets with bright colors. Those blankets are the thing I most remember about her. She loved her little green house on the lake, and her cat. I hope by creating this ofrenda with just a few of the things she loved, I can get to know her better and other people can know more about this wonderful woman.

Estoy dedicando mi ofrenda a mi bisabuela, Eunice Carson. Escogí honorarla a ella, porque ella era muy importante para mí y la queira mucho. Decidí pintar el cuadro con colores de pastel, porque ella siempre estaba feliz. Se sentaba en una silla con sus Crocs en adelante, y tejía mantas con colores brillantes. Las mantas son lo que más me recuerdo de ella. Ella amaba a su casa verde en el lago, y a su gato. Espero que con la creación de esta ofrenda con sólo algunas de las cosas que amaba, puedo llegar a conocerla mejor y la que gente pueda saber más sobre esta mujer maravillosa.
