My Grandmother

I dedicated my ofrenda to my grandmother because she was very special to me. Her name is Joyce. I love her a lot. The flowers in my ofrenda represent how she always had flowers in her house. I included curtains because every morning she used to open the curtains in her house. I used green because it was her favorite color and the white represents heaven. The cross represents her religion – Christianity.

Yo dediqué mi ofrenda a mi abuela porque ella era muy especial para mí. Se llama Joyce. La quiero mucho. Las flores en mi ofrenda representan que ella siempre tenía flores en su casa. Yo incluí las cortinas porque cada mañana ella abría las cortinas en su casa. Usé el verde porque era su color favorito y el blanco representa el cielo. La cruz representa su religión – el cristianismo.
