Lindberg Terminal Airport

The work of 19 artists that originally was featured in the “Earth, Water, Air, and Fire” exhibit at the MIA was presented in a scaled-down version at the airport. The works were installed in three streamlined, aluminum-clad cases designed by Stewart Turnquist and built by sculptor Chris Larson; located in the Lindbergh Terminal, two of these cases are on the mezzanine level, and one is in the Ground Transportation Center. The MAEP will display works of art in these cases twice a year.

The artists who participated in this initial show included: Daniel Bruggeman, Mary Carroll, Gary Erickson, Bernice Ficek-Swenson, Jana Freiband, Tim Harding, Barbara D. Hultmann, David Lefkowitz, Abigail and Michael Mouw, Andrea Myklebust, Bruce Nygran, Robert A. Perkins, Wayne E. Potratz, Stanton G. Sears, Lauren Stringer, Janice Doroff Tanner, Jantje Visscher, and Karoline Wileczek.
