Sara Belleau’s installation/environment The Sixth Joyful Mystery: The Occurrence at Gall chronicled mysterious events in a mythical place named for St. Gall, the patron saint of birds. A dimly lit path through the constructed woods of Gall led to an abandoned chapel. The images contained within its “stained-glass windows,” the testimonies nailed to the chapel wall and various relics strewn about the altar revealed a surreal yet recognizable world that contained many clues to the “miracle” that had occurred.
